Al-Shaibani: No Skirmishes Between Jordan and Syria .. And Strategic Council Meeting Next Month

Al-Taj News – Al-Shaibani said that the Supreme Strategic Council between Syria and Jordan will hold its third session during next month, pointing to the existence of significant cooperation between Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria to ensure border security and stability.

He touched upon the Syrian experience in confronting the militias that intervened in the country, considering that expelling them represents a successful experience, after they plunged Syria into a devastating war that lasted 14 years.

He emphasized that the presence of any weapons outside the framework of the state leads to weakening the state itself before inflicting harm on others and neighboring countries.

He added that Syrian policy stems from a conviction that real security is achieved through the existence of states capable of protecting their peoples, and that the stability of the region is measured by its ability to immunize its societies against infiltrations of chaos, and to establish firm foundations for peace.
